The Weaver’s Perfect Memory is an invention created by Alan Luckey of Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Luckey created an accessory for weavers to attach to their looms. It serves to keep track of the draft pattern and to prevent weavers from becoming lost in their progress. For this project, I served as the production coordinator, the head videographer, and head editor. My responsibilities included developing shotlist for our shoot days, writing the promotional script, maintaining an equipment list for shoot days, and keeping an open line of communication with the clients. I coordinated my team on two trips to the Luckey’s personal workshop and studio located at their home. I planned a two camera set up for our interview with Alan. At the conclusion of the interview, Levi and I gathered photos and video to use as B-roll in the promo video. We collected everything from Alan sculpting the cylinders, to his wife Rhonda showing off her woven pieces.
